With the Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour, the LMU School of Film and Television marks its eighth year bringing selections from the larger festival to campus.

Intercultural Reception

Global Conversations Series

LMU’s Global Conversations Series is returning for the 2024-25 academic year, featuring renowned scholar Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr., who will lead insightful discussions on race, family, heritage, identity, and the complex social issues shaping our world today.

Gates and his distinguished guests will inspire our community with their unique viewpoints, challenging us to reflect on our own experiences and the broader cultural, historical, and social forces that influence our world. This series serves as a platform for meaningful exchange, encouraging curiosity, empathy, and action as we navigate a rapidly changing global landscape. The first two events in this series will be taking place during LMU Family Weekend. Join us for:
