Getting Started

For every process, there is a starting point. To begin the policy development process, the steps below are recommended:

1. Review this policy website for guidance on the policy review and approval process.
2. Review the policy repository for similar policies and to ensure the new policy:
   1. is consistent with previous policies, and
   2. does not overlap with existing policies.
3. Review the Policy on Policies.
4. Complete and submit the Policy Scope Document to the UPC Chair prior to developing the Policy.
5. Utilize the Policy Template.
