LMU Staff Senate is dedicated to providing opportunities for staff engagement.

In addition to our annual signature events, we look forward to connecting with you at athletics and service events throughout the year.

Staff Senate Coffee Chat

Whether you have five minutes or 30 minutes, drop by to meet your staff senators and colleagues. Coffee chats are designed to build community and provide opportunities for staff to connect with each other in a casual setting. Donuts and coffee will be provided. Disposable cups will be available; you are welcome to bring your own reusable mug.

Come mingle with your co-workers and show your Lion Spirit at a special Staff Senate Tailgate! Bring your excitement for a special surprise from Iggy at half-time and cheer on our men’s basketball team. Be sure to also grab your 2025 Iggy Bobblehead at the game!

Complimentary game tickets are available to the first 75 staff members who register, and food and beverages will be provided for all registered staff.

Staff Senate Lunch and Learn

Interested in running for Staff Senate? Simply curious about its vital role within our organization? Bring your lunch and join us for an insightful presentation and Q&A session where you'll gain firsthand insight into the role of a senator and how your vote in Staff Senate elections shapes our workplace community. Staff Senate is your chance to make a difference and be heard. Mark your calendars and be part of this empowering event. Beverages and dessert will be served. No registration required.
