Computer Loan Lottery
Eligible staff have the opportunity to obtain an interest-free loan from LMU to purchase or upgrade a laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone and any related software or peripherals purchased together as part of a system for personal use; no credit check required. The lottery is administered annually by LMU Staff Senate during the fall semester.
Staff who wish to participate in the lottery must have at least 2 years of continuous service at Loyola Marymount University or Loyola Law School, not have an outstanding computer loan balance, and wait at least 1 year after paying off any previous computer loans before seeking a new loan. The exact dates used to determine these eligibility parameters are announced each fall shortly before submissions for the lottery open.
