Notification and Next Steps

The fall 2026 lottery drawing will be held after Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2026. Staff selected for a loan and alternates will be notified via email by end of day on Monday, Nov. 23, 2026.

Staff selected for a loan will be sent detailed instructions with a promissory note that must be notarized. Any costs incurred for notarization will be reimbursed.

Disbursement/Purchasing

You may purchase a computer system from any online vendor or from any retail store. Some companies offer educational discounts on computer hardware and software for personal use.

Loan funds are available through reimbursement or advance funding. Staff selected for a loan will receive details about both options when notified of their selection.

Repayment

Your loan is automatically deducted from your paycheck and equally distributed across 24 months. After the loan is repaid, the device is yours to keep without any further obligations. If your employment with LMU ends before the loan is paid in full, you are responsible for repaying the remaining balance.
