Executive Board
In the spring, LMU Staff Senate nominates and votes on any Executive Board positions whose terms expire at the end of the school year. Senators who have served a minimum of 6 months are eligible to be nominated. Terms for Staff Senate officers are 2 years, and officers may be eligible for reelection for 1 successive term.
If an officer of the senate is up for reelection to the senate main body, and their term of office has not expired, the officer's senate term is extended by the life of their term of office. At the end of the term of office, they will be expected to run for re-election to the senate. If granted reelection, the additional time served will count toward their eligible years of senate service.
