The LMU Staff Senate was founded in 1990 to represent all staff and their interests to university administration.

Mission Statement

In keeping with the mission of Loyola Marymount University, the Staff Senate exists to promote the professional and personal development of staff members, serve in an advisory capacity to the university leadership in the development, review, and dissemination of university policies, and to provide a forum for open communication and ongoing dialogue among the entire university community.

Staff Senate Coffee Chat

Whether you have five minutes or 30 minutes, drop by to meet your staff senators and colleagues. Coffee chats are designed to build community and provide opportunities for staff to connect with each other in a casual setting. Donuts and coffee will be provided. Disposable cups will be available; you are welcome to bring your own reusable mug.
