Patricio went above and beyond his duties to help make the 2023 WCBSUR Conference hosted by LMU's Biology Department on April 22nd a huge success. With over 550 registered participants from 70 institutions using Seaver Hall, Featherston Life Science Building, and Periera Hall, Patricio single-handedly keep all three buildings looking great, and most crucially, the facilities stocked. His actions were way beyond his duty for the all-day Saturday event, but 550 people had a great time thanks to his quiet support. On a daily basis, Patricio, alongside all our custodial staff in Featherston Life Science Building, take good care of our workplace, making it possible for students and faculty to learn, work, and thrive here. What can I say, Velazquez is amazing at his job. He's knowledgeable, works well with everyone on the team and with others outside of DPS's realm.
