This Introduction to LMU for new Freshman and Transfer students forum provides key information to assist students with making a successful transition to LMU. In our Family Week event, we’re inviting all Lions and their families to participate in student-led dance workshops! Students Eliza Ossolinski‘23, Madeline Sharp ‘22, and Kelly Peterson ‘23 will be teaching ballet, house, and jazz funk routines for Lions to break a sweat, bond with each other, and learn something new! These beginner-friendly workshops are the perfect opportunity to engage with the LMU community from your home. Join us to get your groove on!

You and your senior student are invited to join other LMU families to sip cocktails and sketch a fun LMU keepsake. Regardless of your skill level, you'll be carefully guided through this art session by LMU alumna, Alexa Garcia '12 to create a memento of the bluff. To sip, Craftmix co-founder Jake Tannenbaum '18 offers a variety pack of their delicious and easy cocktail mixes to order when you RSVP. $20 for the Craftmix cocktail mixes (makes 12 cocktails), including shipping.

Legacy Family Ceremony
Does your Lion have another family member (grandparent, parent, sibling) who attended LMU? The Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement invites you and your family to join us for a special virtual ceremony featuring fellow legacy families and a member of the Jesuit Community.
We welcome the LMU Family as we celebrate the First Sunday of Lent with our weekly virtual and interactive prayer service based on the Liturgy of the Word and scripture readings of the day. Though we cannot be together on the campus to celebrate the Eucharist, we can be with one another as the LMU Community gathered in prayer at this weekly ecumenical prayer service joined as one from many different states and, indeed, many different parts of the globe.
LMU Dance Marathon
Loyola Marymount University Dance Marathon (LMUDM) is proud to support the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. This foundation provides financial assistance to families of children with cancer, funds research for childhood cancers, and increases awareness for children who are affected by cancer. The B+ Foundation is also the largest provider of financial assistance to families of kids with cancer in the United States. This year, LMUDM will be hosting a virtual event for the entire community to dance in solidarity for all those who are affected by cancer. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to dance with us!

Sponsored by the Los Angeles Loyolan and ASLMU, First Amendment Week exists to raise awareness and appreciation of the First Amendment and the protections it provides for freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition.
