Staff Senate Nominations

Would you like to nominate an LMU Staff member?

In keeping with the mission of Loyola Marymount University, the Staff Senate exists to promote the professional and personal development of staff members, serve in an advisory capacity to University leadership in the development, review and dissemination of University policies, and to provide a forum for open communication and ongoing dialogue among the entire University. 

In order to serve on the Staff Senate, a candidate must meet the following qualifications:

  • Be a full-time employee for one full year prior to acceptance of nomination
  • Be available to attend monthly staff meetings

In addition to monthly Staff Senate meetings, senators should be available to attend a new senator orientation and lunch on June 13, 2018 from 10a-1:30p. If you would like to run, but cannot attend this meeting, please email Staff Senate secretary Ashley Wilson at staffsenate@lmu.edu to inquire further.
